Our Story
La Carreta Mexican Restaurant has been a Luling staple for families craving honest, made-from-scratch Mexican food — and a few Texas BBQ surprises along the way. Our kitchen opens early because breakfast matters, and by 5:30 AM the tortillas are already going on the griddle.
We're family owned and run, which means every plate carries a little bit of home in it. Regulars know to ask about the daily specials, and more than a few have found their way to secret menu favorites that aren't written down anywhere — just passed along table to table.
